Health and Wellness Promotions Internship

DESCRIPTION
Health & Wellness Promotion Internship/Simpson Student Health Services 
2 Positions/1 each semester
Unpaid

The intern will report and work directly with Student Health Services staff in the following capacities:

• Assist and support the development of wellness programming/promotion efforts on campus
• Collaborate with Balanced Life Committee 
• Research the latest trends in campus health promotion and develop programming re: specific wellness topics
• Provide input and support for implementation and promotion of monthly online health periodical, Student Health 101
• Complete written narrative/journal of experience

Required Skills:

• Interest in health promotion
• Strong communication skills
• Creativity/energetic
• Computer skills; Publisher experience an asset
• Self starter
