Hampton Publishing Company has a career opportunity for a full-time outside marketing representative to serve our Cerro Gordo County market and assist with sales in our Franklin County market. 


This position would include base salary with commission. It is our lead sales person for the Mid-America Marketplace and includes established contacts in each of these markets. Cold calling will be expected in order to develop additional prospects. 


The successful candidate would have sales experience, preferably in the media industry, who can develop relationships with customers to help them achieve their marketing goals. They must be self-driven and technologically adept. 


Multi-media sales skills are a plus, but not required. Radio Internship, St. Louis


KTRS Radio in St. Louis is looking for fall interns. We hire interns on a rolling basis and have a degree of flexibility to try and work around interns' schedules.  This is a great opportunity for not only college students receiving credit but students who are looking to get practical experience before they are eligible for credit, or recent graduates looking to gain experience while they seek paid employment.

KTRS Sports Interns have gone on to gain employment for several media outlets and professional sports teams in the St. Louis area as well as across the nation.  Interns will NOT receive monetary compensation.

KTRS Radio is looking for interns eager to work in the sports department of your home of Missouri Tigers athletics in St. Louis. This is a hands-on internship: Assisting on-air sports talent in screening phone calls, researching for shows, gathering and editing sound among other miscellaneous tasks for sports shows. Interns are expected to work odd hours including nights and weekends and will not receive monetary compensation but can receive college credit for their work. Interns should be at least 18 years old.
