Senate HELP Committee Internship

DESCRIPTION
The Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee is one of the largest of the Senate, and is seeking students to apply for internships each academic semester: Spring, Summer, and Fall. As an intern with the committee, you would choose to work with one of our five policy offices: the Health, Education, Labor/Pensions, Disability or Oversight Office. You would have administrative and legislative duties within your office. Administrative duties include checking mail, answering calls, and directing visitors. Legislative duties include research, attending hearings/briefings, and writing memos for staff.


Qualifications:
Senator Harkin's Office is looking for highly motivated young men and women with an interest in public service to apply for an internship.
