DESCRIPTION
Sen. Tom Harkin's Office is seeking students to apply for internships each academic semester: Spring, Summer, and Fall. As an intern with the Personal Office in Washington, D.C., you would be responsible for assisting staff with administrative and legislative duties. Administrative duties include checking mail, answering calls, and directing visitors. Legislative duties include research, attending hearings/briefings, and writing memos for staff. The internship is full time.
Qualifications:
Senator Harkin's Office is looking for highly motivated young men and women with an interest in public service to apply for an internship.
