DESCRIPTION
Senator Harkin's Office is seeking students to apply for internships each academic semester: Spring, Summer, and Fall, for offices in Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, and Sioux City. As an intern with one of the state offices, you would be responsible for assisting staff with administrative and casework duties. Administrative duties include checking mail, answering calls, and directing visitors. Casework duties include assisting Iowans with any questions or problems they have with a federal agency.
Qualifications:
Senator Harkin's Office is looking for highly motivated young men and women with an interest in public service to apply for an internship.
