City reporter. 


The Ames Tribune is looking for an experienced hard-news reporter who also enjoys feature writing. On the city beat, this reporter will cover the cities of Ames and Gilbert, including city council, utilities, city services and issues, plus features and profiles. 


Applicants should have at least two years of solid experience in a fast-paced daily news environment, and must possess a desire to develop our coverage in these core areas. Experience with multimedia and social media is a plus; willingness to work in the digital world is a must.
